Thank you Pinterest and IKEA.  I’m not sure my husband feels the same way.   With some inspiration, I rearranged the pantry so that I could display the hard work that went into canning this year.  This year I canned 38 pints of sliced potatos, 22 quarts peaches, 18 pints of whole tomatoes, 18 quarts green beans, 8 quarts applesauce, 9 quarts apple pie fillings, 7 pints jalapeno jelly, 9 pints stew meet and 42 cups of strawberry freezer jam. Unfortunately I still have 20 lbs of chicken in my freezer to can, and I want to can some black beans.  Yes it was quite the busy canning season, but now every time I look in the pantry and think about canning, I won’t think “what a drag” but “oh, how it is worth it.  They are so pretty “  So There you go.  Here is to pretty (not practical)  :)
